Year 6 Stackpole 2019- Day 4

A bit of a cooler morning this morning, but everyone was excited to do their final activities. By lunch time it started raining, but even that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm. The coasteering group were pleased, the rain didn’t bother them. The mountain bikers got very muddy!

The children have had a fantastic week and we have been very impressed with their behaviour and attitudes.
Some packing after dinner, before their final lights out.

Year 6 Stackpole 2019- Day 3

The children were a little more reluctant to get up today, but they were still up by 7!

Another great breakfast followed by a day of activities. Two groups spent the day away from the centre doing climbing and a coastal walk, while the others did the more local activities.
The weather has been very kind to us today and Ms Mannering is looking very red!
6N are off out on the Nightline tonight and are looking forward to their final activities tomorrow, especially after they’ve heard so much from the other groups!

Year 6 Stackpole 2019- Day 2

An early morning today before a lovely breakfast of bacon and eggs.

The groups spilt to their different activities
One group went coasteering, which was great fun with the instructors Ack and Matt. Getting into the wetsuits was a bit of a challenge for some of the children! Other groups went climbing, did a coastal walk and went cycling.
There were a lot of tired faces after dinner tonight (pasta bolognese!) so after diaries there was time for some chill out before bed and another packed day tomorrow.

Year 6 Stackpole 2019

We arrived at the centre at 3.30pm after a fantastic journey with no traffic. We knew we’d got to Wales because it started raining just after we crossed the Severn Bridge!

After getting the admin bits (like fire drill and unpacking) out of the way, we had a delicious dinner of Pembrokeshire sausages and potatoes and then went for a walk to explore some of the beautiful estate.
We’re looking forward to our first day of activities today!
