It’s been a great week in year 1. Our new Fairy Tale role-plays are up and running and the children have been having fun dressing up and acting out different Fairy Tale stories. In class 1L we have a magical enchanted forest and 1T have a castle complete with a fantastic banquet table!
We’ve had a great time in forest school drinking hot chocolate and eating marshmallows! The second forest school group had a go at making their own dens in the outdoor classroom- they look brilliant.
Thursday was Earth Day. We learnt a song about how we take can of the world and talked about how we can look after our world together. Some children chose to tidy our playground, collecting up any rubbish and old toys. Look how much they found!
