This week, we began our journey through Lent. We took part in a special Ash Wednesday Mass and received ash crosses on our foreheads. We also made our Lenten promises, thinking about how we can show more kindness, faith and self-discipline as we prepare for Easter.
Then on Thursday, things got a lot cosier for World Book Day! This year’s theme, Bedtime Stories, meant we got to wear our pyjamas and dressing gowns to school. As tempting as it was to drift off to sleep, we had some brilliant discussions about books, shared our favourite book characters and talked about the qualities that makes them special. A fantastic day all around!
