This week we have been very excited to see the ‘living eggs’ which arrived in our school on Tuesday.
We have been learning about the lifecycle of a chicken and are able to order the steps. Some children made their own lifecycles.
The children counted that nine of the eggs have hatched so far and have loved seeing the chicks!
Reception have been continuing our writing on the book ‘Superworm’. This week we have been imagining different ways in which Superworm could help the other animals. Keep and eye on Tapestry to see your child’s work.
In maths we have been linking our learning of minibeasts into our learning of part-part whole models. It has been lovely to see the children’s enthusiasm for our learning on minibeasts!
Well done for another week.
