Assessment Data
Assessment helps us support every child’s learning. At our school, teachers in all year groups regularly check how children are progressing in reading, writing, maths, and other subjects. Assessment helps us to identify strengths, plan support, and help every child reach their potential.
In addition, children take statutory assessments at certain points set by the Government to ensure that they are meeting national expectations:
- Phonics Screening Check at the end of Year 1
- Multiplication Tables Check at the end of Year 4
- Key Stage 2 SATs in Reading, Writing, GPS (Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation) and Maths at the end of Year 6
