School Meals

Meals are provided by Hertfordshire Catering Limited and are very popular with the children. A choice of menu is prepared everyday in our school kitchens by our cooks and their teams.

Packed lunches may be brought to school in a lunch box with the name of the child on it. Water is provided for all children at lunch time but if you prefer to send a drink with the packed lunch, please ensure that a plastic screw-top container is provided. Please do not send items in glass containers, chocolates, sweets or fizzy drinks. We are a NUT FREE school. Please do not send in any items containing nut, including chocolate spreads which frequently contains nuts and coconuts.

Infant School meals are free to all pupils.

Upper School Meals

From April 2026 the price of a meal is £3.00 a day

STIR creates fresh, balanced meals each day using high-quality ingredients to support children’s growth, energy, and concentration. Every meal includes a healthy mix of protein, vegetables, and carbohydrates to keep pupils fuelled for learning.

Just as importantly, the menus are designed to be tasty and enjoyable, with a variety of colourful dishes that children love. Pupil feedback is also considered, helping to encourage confidence in trying new foods and building positive eating habits.
