Home Learning
At St Alban & St Stephen, home learning plays an important role in reinforcing classroom learning, building independence, and strengthening the partnership between school and home. As part of our School Development Plan, we reviewed and updated our Home Learning Policy to ensure it is meaningful, manageable, and supportive for all pupils. We consulted closely with both staff and parents to gather feedback and ensure that our new approach reflects the needs of our children and families. Our home learning tasks are designed to consolidate key skills, encourage a love of reading, and provide opportunities for children to take pride in their learning beyond the classroom.
