Micro:bit Magic in Year 5
Year 5 pupils have been learning to code using micro:bits - small, programmable devices that can display messages, detect inputs
and run simple programs. They created their own Rock, Paper, Scissors games using coding skills such as randomness, inputs and selection.
The children enjoyed playing their games and seeing their code come to life. It was a great example of how code is used to program real-life devices, such as smart watches, fitness trackers and games consoles.
A fantastic hands-on computing experience! Well done, Year 5!
