Neverland Adventures, Water Fun, and Upcoming Trips! ☀️🏴‍☠️

What a fantastic few weeks we have had! From magical islands to cooling off in the sun, our pupils have been incredibly busy. Here is a look at what we've been up to and what’s coming up next.

🏝️ A Magical Journey to Neverland!

On 16th June, our children took part in the brilliant Peter Pan's Neverland Adventure drama session.

The children were completely transported to Neverland, where they went on a high-seas mission to help Peter Pan recover his stolen treasure from the hands of Captain Hook! Role-playing as adventurous pirates and mystical mermaids, the pupils used movement and storytelling to bring the tale to life.

It was an incredible active learning experience that truly helped develop their:

  • Confidence in performing and expressing themselves.

  • Communication skills as they navigated the story.

  • Teamwork to defeat Captain Hook!

The children absolutely loved every second of it!

☀️ Beating the Heat

We also managed to survive an incredibly hot week! We are so immensely proud of how well the children handled the heat, keeping their energy and smiles up throughout. A huge thank you to all of our families for your continued support in keeping everyone hydrated and prepared.

Of course, we had to find a way to cool down, and the children thoroughly enjoyed splashing around and cooling off in the sprinklers! 💦

📅 Dates for the Diary: Looking Ahead

We have some very exciting events coming up on Tuesday, 14th July, so please make sure these are marked in your calendars:

  • DT Cooking Day: A chance for the children to get hands-on in the kitchen and develop their culinary skills.

  • History Walk (The Orchid King): An exciting local history walk where we will be learning all about the fascinating story of the Orchid King.

Thank you again for your wonderful support, and let's look forward to a fantastic end of term!
