Year 2 Trip to Mountfitchet

On Wednesday, 25th March, our Year 2 class embarked on an exciting trip to Mountfitchet Castle, a unique time capsule nestled in the stunning Stort Valley. This remarkable site features a motte and bailey reconstruction, allowing our children to step back in time and experience history firsthand.

The day was filled with laughter and exploration as the children engaged with various aspects of daily life in the past. From discovering medieval crafts to learning about the castle’s fascinating history, it was a day packed with fun and learning.

As we wrapped up the term, this trip truly finished it with a bang! We hope you enjoy the photos capturing the joy and curiosity of our young explorers. What a fantastic way to celebrate their hard work this term!
