Computing and spelling in Year 6

This week the Year 6 children have been exploring the new spelling app on Spelling Shed. They were each given a list of words from the Year 5/6 spelling list and then had the chance to play online games based on spelling rules. The children were very enthusiastic about it and were keen to start competitions against other year groups and classes. Following the success of Times Table Rockstar I hope that the children will really engage with this aspect of writing.
In computing we have been exploring Python by tinkering with the program and learning about loops.
Following a busy week last week on their residential, the children have made a huge effort to be in and to be focused. Well done!
