The theme for our first PSHE lesson in Year 4 this week was ‘Togetherness’. We discussed how our hands and our words can either demonstrate kindness and caring for others or become a cause of unkindness and hurt. In the lesson we set the scene for the year ahead in terms of what we are aiming for . We explored how being kinder, more caring, more gentle and more considerate with each other can improve our school. To illustrate our intentions we drew around our hands and filled it with actions and qualities that showed kindness to others and we explored ways to use our hands and our words in positive ways.
