Last week, our wonderful parent volunteers joined forces with their children and our environment tutor, Miss Sophia, to give our upper site grounds a fantastic makeover! Together, they built a new compost bin, planted border hedges and spring bulbs, and brought new life to our planters. It was a joyful day of teamwork, learning, and care for God’s creation—thank you to everyone who helped make our school greener and more beautiful!
For those who don’t know her, Miss Sophia is our inspirational environmental tutor. Funded by money raised by our P.T.A., Miss Sophia visits school every fortnight to carry out forest-school-style activities with different year-groups. Thanks to Miss Sophia, we are lucky enough to have a re-vitalised pond area, peaceful and well-kept prayer gardens, eye-catching planters, rockery gardens and even resident birds in our school bird-boxes.
