Year 4 have been exploring ‘Place Value’ this week in Maths. We had fun playing a game called ‘Who’s the greatest?’ Each player had to make the greatest 4 digit number they could, using their cards and we used the more than and less than symbols to compare with our learning partners. It was fun and helped us to realise that the thousands digit tells us the most about the size of a number.
We started a new topic in our RE lessons about ‘People’. We began by thinking about important people in our own families and then learnt about some of the ancestors of Jesus by reading Matthew 1:1-17. We created family trees showing important people in our families.
