During Mental Health Week, we talked about what it means to belong and how to make someone feel welcome and included. We discussed why it is important for people to feel like they belong in different places and shared some examples of when this happens.
In our PSHE lesson, we looked at why it is important to feel happy and safe at school. We also took part in Christian meditation, which helped us to settle and feel calm and peaceful.
In our art lesson, the children drew beautiful maps to show all the places, groups and activities that make them feel like they belong.
