We ended the term in festive style with a Christmas Elf Trail organised by our wonderful PTA. Children enjoyed searching the playground for cheeky elves hiding with letters, which they re-arranged to form a secret word. This unlocked a special key that allowed them to visit Father Christmas himself – a truly magical moment to end the term.
The Grinch even made an appearance, but thankfully he didn’t manage to spoil the Christmas spirit! Our choir provided beautiful entertainment, filling the air with music, while Christmas karaoke had everyone joining in and spreading good cheer. We also enjoyed hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies, adding to the warm and seasonal atmosphere.
A huge thank you to all the staff elves; Mrs Flatt for leading the Choir; the PTA for organising such a joyful event and especially Mrs Newton for her time and dedication. Thank you to Santa and the Grinch too for taking time out of their busy schedules to visit us!
It truly was a festive and fun-filled way to end the term. We wish all of our families a joyful and blessed Christmas.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at St Alban and St Stephen!
