There have been so many lovely moments in music this term. Here are just a few.
Our Year 2 choir performed in their curriculum assembly. Here is a link to a video of the performing 2 other songs – Let’s go fly a kite and Spring’s out.
The Key Stage 2 choir (y3,4,5 and 6) have recorded a beautiful version on a song called ‘Wonderful Grace’ for Easter. I think you’ll agree they sound amazing. A special mention to Nuala for her solo at the end.
In complete contrast, they have also recorded ‘Revolting’ from Matilda the musical. It was so much fun to learn this song – there are a lot of words and they have to be sung really quickly! Well done to you all, especially Liam for that opening! It has been a lot of fun working with you this term.
Finally, congratulations to Joel. He has written a song called ‘Try’ and it has been entered in to the Diocesan Song Competition. The theme was racial justice, equality and diversity. Joel’s song is very thought provoking and we wish him luck in the competition.
