This week, we launched our oracy presentations, during which children speak in front of the class for one to two minutes on a subject of their choice. They have spent time at home researching a topic of personal interest and practising how to deliver their speech to an audience. The children have focused on projecting their voices, speaking clearly and confidently, maintaining fluency, and engaging the audience through eye contact. The first few presentations this week were very impressive, and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to them.
