World Book Day was such a special day as we celebrated the wonderful world of books.
We read extra stories during the day with our teachers, as well as having an author visit, Fatemah Rahmani (Kareema’s mum) and we read with our parents and grandparents at the end of the day.
We also had a special World Book Day Assembly and we paraded around the hall in our pyjamas and onesies!
Whether you enjoy reading with your family, teachers, or even by yourself, books can take you on the most exciting adventures!
All the children will go home today with a World Book Day voucher which can be spent at our school Book Fayre or at book shops.
Please support the Book Fayre, if you can, as the school will receive additional books from any sales.
We wish our families a very restful weekend to recharge from our busy week.
It is Science Week next week, so another week of exciting lessons are planned.
