Year 6 have had a busy week. We all enjoyed our trip to the Lion King and the children behaved beautifully in the theatre. We were incredibly proud of how sensible and respectful they were.
On Friday as part of our All Are Welcome day, the children have taken part in a collaborative art project. Building on our work on perspective and drawing buildings, each child has drawn their favourite building. Mrs Earl is currently putting it together to create a Year 6 town which you will be able to see on Open Evening.
The children have also each created a poem based on their favourite country based on a lesson created by Mabel and Neve. The girls did a fantastic job leading the lesson and had put a lot of work into the slides. Great work, girls! We look forward to putting all the poems from across the school into a book very soon!
