The Year 6 boys’ team travelled to How Wood school on Thursday evening for their first fixture of the school year. We had an amazing start with C scoring in the very first minute. We spent most of the 1st half under pressure, but despite this, D and A especially excelled in their roles.
Unfortunately, we conceded three quickfire goals just before half time which left us with a real battle for the 2nd half.
The attitude and application in the 2nd half was fantastic, and we got our rewards when C struck from outside the box. We had numerous opportunities to get an equalizer, but the ball just would not find the net. The opposition made use of us going on an all out attack and caught us with a good counter attack goal near the end.
The final score was 4-2 but the boys put in a really solid performance especially in the 2nd half.
Well done to all of the boys who took part!
