St Alban & St Stephen Catholic Primary School & Nursery is a split site school. The Lower Site consists of our Nursery, Reception and Key Stage 1 (KS1) classrooms. The Upper Site consists of our Year 3 to Year 6 classrooms (KS2). Once our pupils have a place in Reception, they stay with us until Year 6.
Please note that the Lower Site tours will only showcase the lower site school (Nursery to Year 2)

Applications for Reception – September 2026
Applications open on the 3rd of November 2025. We welcome applications from families whose child will turn 4 years of age by the 1st of September 2025. The deadline for on time Reception applications is 15th January 2026. You can still apply online but your application will be treated as late. http://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/admissions
Applications for Nursery – September 2026
Applications open on the 3rd of November 2025. We welcome applications from families whose child attains 3 years of age by the 1st of September 2026. Applications are made directly to the school.
The deadline for Nursery applications is the 20th February 2026. You can still apply but your application will be treated as late.

The Office will be able to give you the most up-to-date information about whether spaces are available in that year-group and will provide you with details of how to apply.
