This week in Nursery has been full of excitement, creativity, and festive fun! We finished our story Astro Girl with a delicious activity: making our very own rocket cookies. The children were fantastic little bakers, helping to mix, stir, roll, and cut the dough into rocket shapes. Once they were baked and ready, we all enjoyed tasting them together, they were yummy!
In RE, the children worked beautifully together to make 3D stars. We talked about how the bright star guided the Kings to Bethlehem, helping them find baby Jesus. The children were fascinated by this part of the Christmas story and proudly created stars to take home. We also painted the Three Wise Men using our hands, which made for wonderful and colourful artwork.
Alongside all this magical learning, we have been very busy practising for our upcoming carol concert. The children are singing beautifully, and their confidence is growing each day. We can’t wait to share their hard work with you all next Friday, 19th December. It’s going to be a very special performance!
