At the beginning of the week, we learnt about the ‘Water Cycle’ in Science and worked with learning partners to create a water cycle in a bag. We learnt about evaporation, condensation and precipitation.
We enjoyed ‘National Poetry Day’ on Thursday and explored using our senses to write our our own poems about ‘play’.
We had a lovely ‘Celebration of the Word’, led by our three class prayer leaders. The theme was ‘Peace’ the Bible reading was the story of Zacchaeus. The children were invited to offer each other the sign of peace and joined in really prayerfully.
We have also been thinking about how everyone is welcome in our school. God made us all different but we are all special.
