This week in Reception we enjoyed listening to the Bible story The Feeding of the 5,000. The children talked about sharing, kindness and how Jesus helped so many people with just a small amount of food. We became very busy bakers and made our own bread, carefully mixing and kneading the dough. We also created beautiful clay fish and decorated them with shiny sequins, as well as colouring and decorating paper fish. In Maths, we have been learning about routes and directions, using words like forwards, backwards, left and right during practical activities and games.
