This week in Science, the children explored creating circuits using wires, batteries and light bulbs. They discovered that the light bulb only came on when the circuit was complete.

In English, the children wrote some excellent persuasive leaflets to encourage visitors to come to an imaginary land, inspired by the story ‘Weslandia’, which they have been reading in class. The children learnt to use rhetorical questions, imperative verbs, conjunction words and persuasive vocabulary in their writing.

Our PE lessons this week involved us continuing to work on performing a variety of different bridges. We did solo bridges, bridges with a partner and some with a group of other children. We needed to work together, showing our school value of unity.
