Over the last few weeks, Year 5 have been learning about life in Ancient Greece. We’ve learnt how primary sources (like beautifully decorated Greek pots) can tell us so much about the past, from daily life and Olympic sports to ancient beliefs and traditions.
We studied a variety of Greek pots, explored their different purposes and even sketched and designed our own versions. Today, we began the exciting first stage of making our Greek-inspired pots! Using recycled plastic bottles and Modroc, we built the base structures. Next week, we’ll be painting and decorating them with our designs. We can’t wait to show off our finished creations!
