Year 4 teachers provided some creative and relaxing activities on Green Day this week! Wednesday saw the whole school go into eco mode and focus on the protection preservation of our precious planet. Green Day helps the children learn about ecology and looking after our planet. Many exciting and informative activities were provided by teachers in all year groups and Year 4 teachers for their part led yoga and craft sessions. Mrs. Tennant did yoga with groups of children across the upper site and Mr Taylor made little crosses made from lolly sticks and decorated with wool called ‘God’s Eyes’. Yoga focused on promoting well-being and the craft activity brought out the creative side of the children and taught them about re-using and recycling materials.
