You’re never too old to play! Our new outdoor play initiative, Little Seeds, Big Wonder, is bringing that belief to life across our school. As part of our School Development Plan, we are focussing on outdoor play and developing lunch break playtimes. Our Key Stage 2 children have really been enjoying all of the new activities. As you can see, despite a cold, damp muddy January, the children are making the most of our new mud kitchen, den-building, small world play and plenty of fresh air! We will continue to work throughout this year to use our beautiful outdoor environment to encourage curiosity, creativity, resilience and a love of exploration.
If you can donate any of the following used items for our playtimes, please drop them in at either Office:
- Small world play eg figures, plastic animals, plastic dinosaurs
- Duplo or lego
- Dressing-up clothes (any age)
- Tarpaulins/ old curtains
- Old tyres
- Large empty wooden cable reel drums
- Plastic milk crates
- Long thin sticks (just leave them near the den-frames)
