Year 6 have been amazing this week especially following the assessments last week which they took in their stride. I have greatly enjoyed reading the children’s ghost stories, inspired by Charles Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol.” I have also take time to reflect on how far the children have come since September and I am immensely proud of how hard everyone is working. We have enjoyed some wonderful Christmas moments together this week, including our Christmas jumper day. Following our dinner, we showed a film in one class where many settled down and got cosy, and on the other class there were games and activities. Yesterday, the children painted their animal masks and in the afternoon made some amazing pop out cards for friends and family.
As the term draws to a close, I would like to take the opportunity to express our appreciation for all the support the Year 6 families give to the school. Thank you for our kind gifts and presents. We wish you all a peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
