In RE, the children in Year 4 listened to the story of Zacchaeus. They thought about how Jesus brought hope to all, and worked together to produce an amazing piece of artwork, depicting the story. We had our first class ‘Celebration of the Word’, planned by pupils in Year 4. The children chose the Bible story ‘Jesus welcomes the children’. They drew pictures of their families to place around the prayer focus and each child said a quiet prayer as they dropped a pebble into a bowl of water.
In PE, we enjoyed using the ‘Speed Stacking’ cups. Speed stacking helps to build body strength and coordination. It is also lots of fun!
This week, Year 4 had the opportunity to find out about brass music lessons at our school and we were really impressed with Luke’s fantastic trumpet playing!
