The children in Year 1 were so excited to return to school after their half term break.
We have enjoyed starting all our new topics. Please see the new Spring 2 Home Learning, which will be shared soon.
Lent actually started during half term; the children loved sharing what they put on their pancakes and some of the children talked about receiving the ashes at church on Ash Wednesday. We will continue to learn about Easter during our R.E. lessons, but this week the children have been learning how we prepare during Lent.
The children have all written a Lenten promise; this may involve, fasting, giving and praying.
We wish all our families a restful weekend.
Please remember that next week it is World Book Day on Thursday, get your PJs ready!
