This week, the Year 1 children were challenged to promote Clean Air!
We learnt about a campaign called MUMS for LUNGS, which promotes changing our lifestyles to improve the air that children breathe.
The Year 1 children thought very hard about things that they could change to reduce air pollution.
We then made a pledge of things that we would try to do. Here are our pledges:
We also wanted to share with you the fun learning we have been doing in Maths this week. As part of our measuring, counting and ordinal number learning, we challenged each other to do things in a set time; lots of fun was had, doing star jumps, hopping on the spot and sit-ups!
We also challenged ourselves to drawing a portrait and writing numbers in a set time.
