It’s hard to believe we’re already approaching the end of our first half-term – and what a wonderfully busy and productive one it has been!
In RE, we’ve been exploring the story of Abraham, reflecting on how his example inspires us to live with faith, hope, and trust in God. Over in PE, our young athletes have been developing their netball skills with great enthusiasm, focusing on ball control, footwork, and shooting – teamwork and determination have been on full display! Music has also filled our classrooms with joy as the children have embraced rhythm, song, and a variety of instruments with real excitement.
In maths, we’ve been mastering regrouping while subtracting, and in English, the children have dazzled us with their imaginative writing about the magic of the circus. Their creativity and flair have been truly inspiring, as have the fantastic homework projects that have been shared in class – including a delightful presentation on how to bake a Roman cake!
Our artistic talents have continued to shine in art, where the children have created stunning Roman-style mosaics that could rival those made centuries ago.
As we move into our final week of this half-term, we’re eagerly anticipating our trip to the Roman Museum in Verulamium next Friday – the perfect way to bring our learning to life!
