Year 4 were busy this week doing their sponsored events as part of the school wide effort to raise money for school children in Tanzania. Both classes had discussed what activities they would like to do and completed them this week. Hazel class decided that they would like to do an hour of computing which they completed on Wednesday. They played Times Tables Rockstars, Scratch and Numbots. Not only was this for a good cause, but it was also great fun! Beech class settled for a more sporty theme for their sponsored event. They decided to do an hour of sporting activities including running races, dodgeball, skipping, gymnastics, football, basketball and netball. Although very warm outside they completed their events successfully and also had great fun doing so. We look forward to raising as much money as we can as part of the school wide fundraising effort.
