And so our first week back after half term draws to a close! What a busy and exciting week it has been, filled with all kinds of activities that have flown by in a flash.
In English, we got creative with our own writing, inspired by Leon and the Place Between. We have been so impressed with the quality of the children’s writing and their amazing creativity!
In Maths, our focus has been on multiplication, and the children have shown great enthusiasm and determination in mastering new skills.
PE was full of fun as we enjoyed a lively session of Drumba, keeping us moving and grooving to the beat!
In RE, we explored the wonderful example of Elijah the Prophet, thinking about what we can learn from his faith and actions.
Our classroom was alive with music this week! Thanks to our fantastic music teacher, the children’s musical abilities and talents really shone through, from singing to playing instruments. Speaking of talents, our Celebration of the Word was truly special. We reflected on how inspirational our saints are and were treated to a delightful rendition of When the Saints Go Marching In—on both the flute and the trumpet! What talented children we have in Year 4.
We wish you all a wonderful weekend and a happy, successful term ahead!
