This week in RE, Year 5 explored the story of the sinful woman from Luke 7:36–50, focusing on the themes of forgiveness and hope in the midst of darkness.
As part of their reflection, children created striking Notan artwork, using black paper to symbolise sin, fear, and despair and white paper to represent light, forgiveness and new beginnings.
The contrast in their art serves as a powerful reminder that even when life feels heavy or others judge us, Jesus brings hope and healing.
