On Monday, Year 5 took part in a Virtual Reality workshop that gave them the chance to explore outer space. Using VR headsets, the children were able to see the planets of our solar system up close and learn more about their features, sizes and positions in relation to the Sun.
They discovered interesting facts about the planets, including the stormy atmosphere of Jupiter, the icy rings of Saturn and the rocky surface of Mars. The children enjoyed the workshop, which helped bring their science learning to life and sparked their curiosity about space.
